What makes a good Exhibit Designer?

This question is often asked by those who are in entering the field of Exhibit Designer. Principals of Exhibit companies would also like to know the characteristics they should look for interviewing prospects for their design staffs.
The fact there is no easy answer, but perhaps the following thoughts can help define the problem. Among the most desirable attributes of an Exhibit Designer are:
  • creative mind,
  • an interest in solving problems
  • an ability to come up with solutions.
In the normal course of events, the Exhibit Designer is given a marketing objective and a list of available resources, and acceptable and practical solution. The Exhibit Design must have, ofcourse a facility at illustration. One point of the initial steps in developing a project is generally a color rendering, giving the Exhibitor a first impression of the appearance of the proposed exhibit concept.
